Had a look at one of these in Napier yesterday. Unable to take a photo of it but found this photo on the net. A friend of the owner said its one of only 3 in the country but unable to confirm that. From the front its identical to the Africa Twin RD04.
Even from the side it looks like an AT with a Guzzi motor in it.322582

Nah - its just a Quota 1000... Nice enough... Guzzi have made a LOT of dual sport bikes over the years. Some great - some ordinary..

Is that one of Keiths bikes????
That lateral rotation torque response from the shaft drive on a big mill like that would be interesting at pivotal (sic) moments on a decent adventure ride :)

na quite a few about of the 1000's ya just never see em out, the 1100ES there is only 3 in NZ, 1 up north 1 up the road and 1 down south, not all regestered... to ride they are so much like a guzzi road bike but also so far from one...
the garage up the road... note the even rarer guzzis in the photo, theres actually 7 in the photo
