Last of the 1200 before they went 1250.
Upgraded rear shock GSXR1000
Luggage included.

Im thinking that I will upgrade this to a newer 2 up touring bike so its for sale.

Its not perfect condition but nothing fails to operate correctly.

No point asking more than anything is worth or it wont sell.
It is a good amount of bike for the price but the dealerships asking 5-6 are dreaming a bit its not exactly the latest piece of kit.

If I had chips I'd be holding out for mulletmans Hayabusa.
Would you take a promissory note for 2 bags of chips instead?

Can I put that in the bank in case I get no other offers or are you just teasing me?

Yep. I'd stand behind $5, a chocky fish with a promise of 2 bags of chips next pay.

Personally I think that's high but its the 1250 motor and tidier than mine with 20k less distance travelled and a dealership can sell with no money down on hp.
I just want a honest price that's going to be attractive to someone wanting a bigger bike after getting full licence or something to get to work on or travel a bit.
I bought it to do some trips and take wifey for a ride as the gusta isn't any good for those things but im in a position I can afford spend more on the second bike now. I could trade the bandit but I don't want to be bound by using a bike shop or restricted by requiring passing on a trade in which reduces the spending power you have buying another second hand bike.

I think I am priced ok and someone with chips could bargain even more but not very much more.
Bit of luggage included. Tank bags worth a bit as is the medium quality semi firm saddle bags.

Rego is on hold but im sure ill need get some for next owner or discount accordingly. Tires are end of life soon also. No fancy exhaust system on mine only real mod is gsxr1000 adjustable stock with 10mm increased ride height at back.

Goal is to make the bike financially attractive to potential new owners.
I bought it prior to Cold Kiwi last year so must have owned it for a bit over a year now.

You need reel yourself in a bit before you end up with buyers remorse.

It's a fair price, no question. It's the sort of machine I would happily have for my commute but sad to say the shed is full. Hope you get a sale quickly!

Fair is my opinion I think there can be even better deals to be found when your prepared to sift through some crap bikes to find them. when I see something I want to buy it will become bargain priced instead of fairly priced.

This I do like but it would need be a bit newer to make me act quickly

It might do but im not putting on tardme yet its only on offer here before summer begins.
Once summer is starting and I place it on tard ill likely ask a bit more.

I just had bagels, toasted with ham inside and they were so good. I think I found a new favourite light meal.

So what bike is on your wish list:drool:

I always liked the bmwr1200s I owned so maybe a BMWR1200st
Maybe K1200S, K1200GT, Bennili Trek, Sprint GT, Concours ZG, FJ1300

Maybe even a near new bandit.

Not sure last owner was from Palmy North before I got it. I am not sure he was he was into bikes as he delivered it from 120km away in the wet with 5 pounds pressure in rear tire and said he had a few scary moments on the way.
It now lives in the Auckland area.
