Do people know if GT Radial is only the little 1.2km track, NOT the new extension + current? Am I only meant to use the 1st gear????:shit:

I thought the'd open up the whole thing???

Just been looking in to the new Hampton Downs facility as the weather starts to improve and track days draw nearer.

Still not sure if I'll do a track day with AMCC (ART day) or through Hampton's own MotoHD days.

I was keen to do some HD track days this year, but it's sooo expensive, but more importantly only on the tiny track for some reason. NO WAY am I going to pay that much to ride on such a tiny track. I can't understand why they aren't opening up the whole course for motorbikes.

Considering a car day is:

An AutoHD FULL DAY WILL COST $125 + $25 Health & Safety Levy

You must first register and pay a $50 annual registration fee.

vs. a bike day:

A MotoHD FULL DAY WILL COST $145 + $25 Health & Safety Levy

You must first register and pay a $50 annual registration fee.

If this is for the tiny section of the new circuit then I'm not going to waste my time (and more importantly money).

According to Hampton Downs:

The National Circuit is the current 2.7km circuit and the Club Circuit is the new 1.2km extension.
