View Full Version : Trade Me Store - Product Management Software?

I'm looking at setting up a Trade Me store.

Currently I run an E-commerce site on Wordpress using Woocommerce

I've been quoted as high as $15-20k to build a link between my site and Trade Me's API to import my products etc to a Trade Me store.

I'm aware Tradevine is an option, although am wondering if any KBers out there know of anything else suitable?

There are a lot of small businesses with stores on Trade Me (even within the motorcycle parts category) and I'm sure they're not paying $20k to get a product management software set up...

Also OMINS I think? Trying to think of the ones that show on auctions...

Bespoke stuff is always more tricky and time consuming to deliver. If you're working inside an already existing structure then it will be a lot easier, but then your website may not be compatible with that etc...

Ask this place what they use pretty sure it used to be listed at the bottom.

Appreciate the replies.

Seems there's no easy way to automate product importing to Trade Me, from the Trade Me stores I've contacted - they're either using OMINS (which won't really work for me...) or Trademe's "My Products" which has concurrent listing limits and other importing woes.

Will keep researching :brick:

I haven't read it all, but this would be the API for the job (http://developer.trademe.co.nz/api-reference/selling-jmethods/list-an-item/). I guess that depends on whether you can XML/JSON the appropriate data from yer e-commerce site.
