I can't help, but I remember people blinging bikes with anodized goodies in blue, gold, red. One being a lid like you want, not sure about the rubber though.

Ahh okay i'll look into that and maybe a rebuild kit will come with the rubber, will scour around ebay etc.
Be good to go with a gixxer unit or similar as its a streetfighter build, get some nice levers etc

try your local suzuki dealer, easy job, email them the part numbers, you may be surprised what they have in stock for common models and some of these parts fit over 100 models, and surprised at the value for money. i've got about 1/2 dozen suzukis and have been there and done that.
make sure you check time from overseas as they offer different speeds of supply too.

Will dig around on it the shipping from that us site just for those pieces was quoted at $56 usd and $35usd for the parts...
If i can just find a used unit or somebody has a broken one with salvagable parts sitting in the corner of the shed i'm hoping i can just pry that from them... yes im a tight arse lol

no wrecker will sell you the top bits, the part numbers have been provided to you, copy them in an email and send em to your suzuki dealer, it would be a good example for a price comparison i reckon and hope you post results here.

i just ordered pn 26451-4500 partzill quote $3.43 usd $4.59 nzd my local dealer charged me $7 today, here quicker than the states too, this is for a early eighties suzuki. and i like supporting local, no way with freight etc is your stuff going to be cheaper from overseas.
alpha sports quoted $5.51usd $7.37usd
a lot of the importers are aware of the difference and now price accordingly, with suzuki, if it's not in nz you can get it airfreighted for a bit extra, or slower delivery for no freight.

Appreciate that, and likely a wrecker wont but they could have a smashed housing and the top bits could be fine, never know, but i wouldnt bother paying wrecker prices as even if they had they i'd be paying more than new...
At this stage i won't waste local shops time quoting up the parts as this lever has no adjustment so i'm holding out to see if somebody pops up with a nice complete unit off a gsxr or similar and i'll put that on the bike, i'm building a streetfighter and rounding up bits so there isn't a major rush.
So if somebody has a complete unit with an adjustable lever off a suzuki i'd be interested to see what i can get.

Assuming of course that the master cylinder size matches the calipers fitted to your bike well enough to make functional brakes.....
Can understand your reluctance to purchase off the net bits for a possibly fucked master cylinder though, shipping from the US seems to be hell expensive for no discernible reason.

ah, it's a clutch cylinder not a brake one
shipping from the states can be cheap, but as the seller isn't paying they use the expensive stuff which is easy to use and easy to track etc, no skin off their nose, i've had parts suppliers with some items in stock and some on backorder, the prickes sent what they had and then another lot later so got hit twice....
