You really need to put up some pics and at least some idea of price. I am interested, pics will help me figure out how interested and price will tell me if you are realistic. Your original post makes me thinking in the hundreds, not thousands. A good RD350 is 4 to 6k

If I didn't already have a rough 73 GT185 I'd be very interested.

What state is the cbx400 in, my son is vaguely looking for a bike and that would probably be a good bet for his level of experience, other than the fact that it probably has the *shudder* inboard front disc brake.

CBr1000 front end, exhaust wrap and cut the seat in half and you'll become the next TV star.

Ask questions.
The spare exhausts are really straight.

they were a weapon in their day. One of my chums was killed on one when a truck turned in front of him and he had nowhere to go

Cbx is straight, 45k. Dead reg.
Havent started for a while, just taking up space and getting knocked about.

I'll haul her out and take a pic tomorrow

Apparently I cannot send a pm to you as I am new to the site. Would you please try sending me a pm with a contact number so a friend in Christchurch can come up and see the RD. Many thanks

What brand are the slotcar sets?

Got a heap. Probably over 100pc tyco HO scale track, quite a few cars. A good selection of AFX and lifelike track, and quite a bit of Scalextric track and some cars. What you looking for?

HO cars and Tomy AFX track, thinking of setting up a bit of a track in the shed for grand kids etc to have a go on well that's my excuse anyway.

Dead reg may be a killer, depending on what other history there is for it.

Also thought it would make the lams list, but seems not.

Only pre 75 RD350's are lams approved looking at the list and yet the RD400 is ok.

I think the air cooled RD250/350/400 are all on the lams list, but the 350LC's don't make it.

I was expecting the CBX400 to be LAMS, but after a quick look at the specs it might be over the power to weight limit.

cars no prob, I have quite a bit of tomy AFX track. the HO tyco set I have is HUGE, if you hook up all of the pieces then you need more than one power supply to get power right around the circuit, loop the loops, spirals, even goes up the wall..... i'll pm some pics one day

Then it must be REALLY REALLY REALLY light...
