I have been using my new Duke 390 for about 3 months now, and almost all that time I have been struggling with the mirrors. They just tend to fold in the wind, and I have to set them again every now and then. Especially the one on the right side. Sometimes they stay in place for 2-3 days (300-400 km), and then start folding again.

Has anyone else faced the same issue with 2016 model? Or is that a standard behavior? If so, I would probably want to install some other mirrors, just not sure what will fit better...

You bought it new?

Take it back and ask them to fix it!

Ah, I see it's a 2015. Still, I'd expect the dealer to fix repeat faults like that in a fairly new 2nd hand bike as well, think they've got a 2 year warantee.

You're not hanging your handbag off them are you?

I had exactly the same issues with the mirrors on my 690 when I brought in new in 2014.
1 just snapped off at 2500 km`s and the bike had never been dropped

Replaced them with some double take mirrors from the states ( supposedly unbreakable ) and have never had any issues since.

Double Takes work, bit ugly though. Got them on the WR.
Can get them in Christchurch from Motomox (http://www.motomox.co.nz/shop/show_products.php?cat=8&sub_cat=16).
I aded a bit of heat shrink over the mirror balls though to stop them moving in highway winds and little jumps.
