Ok people... summer is just round the apex & silly's season is upon us. For those of us all year riders, it's been an enjoyable, quiet & uneventfull winter.

If you are coming out of hibernation.... please, please, please pace yourself & don't be a statistic. Watch out for zombies, road maggots & don't give ACC an excuse to raise the fees

Been a pretty good winter for riding in CHCH. Happy for the Spring warmth though, as are my tyres :-)

True. I think there was only one day I had to go in late for work due to black ice on the road. Probably didn't crack out the wet weather gear more than 10 times.

Been good in the hood also.

Only missed one day... overnight freeze & black ice contributing to 3 different car accidents, grid lock in & out of the city.... that's a first !

Had my first accident last week.
Rode all through winter 50k round trip commuting every day.
Best day in ages and bang.

I certainly will be, just waiting for insurance to officially write the bike off and pay out on the bike and gear then time to buy a new bike and gear.
