Quite diverse - he wrote "Superstar" for the Carpenters at one end of the scale, and at the other end, "Delta Lady" for Joe Cocker.

Back when he was hot property it seemed you couldn't buy an album but that his name was on it. The list of people he played with would look like the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
