View Full Version : Rebranding Auckland

Bass
16th November 2016, 13:35
Been a bit of shit up here recently about people wasting money rebranding Auckland.

Letter to the Herald this morning from some guy in Devonport sums it up.

Fkn classic!

Auckland - city of jails
Wellington - city of gales
Christchurch - city of nails
Dunedin - city of ales
There, that ought to save the ratepayer a million over the next year or two.

Love it.

Auckland: It's okay to admit that it's the best place in the country.

Auckland: Where you can be sure that the lovely lady at the Bar isn't related!

Auckland: Still not quite first world Infrastructure.

Auckland: It's too expensive, we'll do it later when it's cheaper.

Straw poll; if a Donald Trump type built a wall around Auckland, would it be:
A) to keep Aucklanders in?
B) to keep non-Aucklanders out?
C) to fill with water?

ps. I'm aware I'd be fucked on all three given my work vs home situation.
