...I should maybe put this somewhere else but it's more relevant here where twin shock or thumper types come.
I have a bunch of XL250 stuff. Lots... three or four engines ranging from a real good runner with a sticky oil ring, or maybe broken, to a runner that will be a bit stiff on lubelessness and friction, a runner with a few big noises and one or maybe two complete spares engines, three are in frames, two have DID alloys and all three have nearly new trials type tyres on, lots of other rims and shit, enough covers and tanks to make a good XL250 from.
This would be more aimed at Sth Islanders I would think, 'cos theres alot and I'm not really interested in too much drama with moving them anywhere myself.
These bikes were altered a little for ft racing, but any bits cut off are still around

Have no idea what they are worth as a lot, but would consider anything as a starting point.
I know what the DID's with the tyres on are worth , so I do have a reference point for myself to go by.

If any have the potential to be road registered, I have a friend who would be keen on one..or two

...there is a good bike or potentially two...if you wanted a heap of xl shit and had the time or were silly enough to want to...these would be only ever be dirt bikes or playthings off road...they were going round in circles on speedway tracks for a while and have been stripped back for such entertainment...there may be a headlight or two hanging about...

Tony had about 30sq meters of XL/XR stuff for sale at the recent VCC swap meet. I missed out on what he said was a good Motorsport bottom end....
