2004 Thumpstar restoration

Hello, I have a 2004 Thumpstar that is in need of some serious TLC, and looking for parts.

Also unsure whether things like engine casings from modern models will fit the 2004 so generally looking for some advice.

IMO just pick up a whole engine for 300ish, the rest of the parts should be generick
