I'm moving back to Auckland to the North Shore, can anyone suggest a service shop that can help me get my bike registered and on the road? I'll need to get it serviced and road worthy after it's voyage from overseas?

a mate of mine bought a bike in to NZ from Straya a year or so back. He took it to the dealership for certification and registration in the NZ system.
You should probably do likewise - find the closest dealership, drop it off there and say "Sort it out chaps". Can't be more specific because I know fuck all about Harleys or Auckland.

You will need proof or registration oversea,s ( pink slip from USA ) and it should have a FMVSS sticker on the frame to prove it meets standards . Thats all :)

Took mine to VTNZ, 120 Sunnybrae Road, Northcote. They're able to take care of the checking and registration process. Need your overseas ownership documents.
