Derestricting lams bikes

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck derestricting their high capacity lams machines?

I've got one of the 2016 sv650s and its a great bike and would like to have more ponies once the licence is sussed. I've read that the old gladius could be derestricted with a change in the ecu and am wondering if the same goes for the new model.

just stab some holes in it with a No.2 philips.

oh. and also ignore cassina cos she doesn't have a fucking clue (about anything).

depending on the mode of restriction (likely an ECU reflash, at that vintage) will depend how easy/cheap it is to derestrict.

Sell lams approved bike for a small loss and add the cash you were going to spend on it and buy a bike with twice as many ponies.
