im looking for a 2 into 1 exhaust for a gpx 250 and cant find one, there was one on facebook but that was rooted apparently, so anyone have any ideas of where to get one? this is just to make the bike sound a bit nicer and lighter not competition riding or anything like that

thought of that, wnat to keep the original exhaust, my dad had the idea of buying a second system and converting it to a 2 into 1

if he can "convert" one, he should be able to "fabricate" one. welding pipe's not hard, then a gnarly slipon growler. or are you expecting to straight pipe it?

well the plan was to just buy a stock one, and cut of one of the exhaust and just make it attach to the other side, could fab one, but dont have the tubing for it and is easier to go this route since it will most likely be a few simple cuts and weilds rather than sorting out the whole bending and making sure everything is the right length

Yeah but that sounds like a bunch of crap arrangement.
Do it properly
You'll not notice any gain either - it's a 250. If you want some more noise replace the stock pipes with some narley little reverse cone mufflers or similar.

Do you need to replace the whole exhaust system for that nicer sound you're looking for?
Just swap the muffler, you might find something like a uni-exhaust from Biker Bargains who lists some cheap noisey exhaust mufflers, but shop around.

I built a header back stainless 2-1 system for mine 10+ years ago with the help of a cousin and a tig welder. Whole job under 200bucks in parts. Buy mandrel bends and off you go...

Have a look at the 08-16 Ninga250 and 300 systems, id think its the same motor and it would be a good starting point and you may find it bolts straight up, it will at the least give you the bends etc to achieve a two into one.
