I WANT one of these.

Star Roadliner.

Strealine-moderne styling. One of the great Art-Deco derivatives, and something that just churns my butter.

I WANT one of these.Star Roadliner. So do I (dribble). It sure is pretty. And a Yamaha. But only after I have my Buell, 998, 888, SP1, RC45, '98 R1, Benelli Tornado and the new Bimota Tesi 2D and DB5 however.

Do you happen to know saturdays lotto numbers?

Damn.... Both stretched chopper and Classicc looks to that thing. Work of Cruiser art from Yamaha. I do wish they would stop doing the 2 into 1 pipes. It's just not right...

The model home page complete with 360degree view (http://www.yamaha-motor.com/star/products/modelhome/484/0/home.aspx).

Saw a Kawasaki equivalent today at one of their dealerships. They look impressive.

Definitely the Old thing.

Plus once you've ridden a few, you can't put them down....

You're weird man. You're IN MY HEAD. ;)

No bags, tassles, chaps, or screen. Just a burbling exhaust note and wafting scenery.

Jim - you would end up being fodder for XJR owners :headbang:

Bah! 2 in 1's sound great! A mate had an EVO with a Harris 2 into 1- best sounding Harley I have ever heard

Now we are talking...

From a design point of view that looks GREAT... Look at the line of the front header pipe... Very nice indeed... (WTF?? I'm praising a Japanese cruiser -aaarrgghhh)

Mr Bloor and co should kidnap the stylist and set him oe her to work on their classic range.. This person can use a drawing board. Fecking nice one!

Cheers

Woo hoo! No spokes. Mrs H could be VERY happy with one of those (as could Mr H). The Mean Streak at last has some worthy competition for the sexiest metric cruiser. Frothy butter indeed.

I have feeling I am *this* far away from that, no matter what I ride. You hoon, you.

Just don't look right to me. But there are a few systems like that out there that I don't mind but the one on the Roadliner-s here just looks like an afterthought.

EDIT: Luckily I just found these (http://www.yamaha-motor.com/star/products/modelscitemdetail/5/485/1918/14627/2006/1/6069/0/0/detail.aspx) on the Yamaha web site.

Think I would prefer the Roadliner Midnight. (http://www.yamaha-motor.com/star/products/modelhome/485/0/home.aspx)

Not a damn bit of difference (http://www.yamaha-motor.com/star/products/modelspeccompare/484/1367/0/compare.aspx) between the two except the midnight is ofcourse black and has less chrome bits. Chrome is good but for me there is such a thing as too much.
