Did anybody check out the new miniseries "Over There". Freakin awesome!
Based on the followings of a group of marines every day lives in Iraq.
Really put you right in the middle of it. Must look for the series on DVD.

Loved to have but dunt have Sky Movies unfortunately. I love that stuff, being ex-Army.

Those ads came across to me like 'Oh my God! we're so bad and contraversal for making a show abou this....'......well to me at least lol :)

Btw, it's no match for 'dad's army' :D

I gave up watching after about 40 mins. I thought it slow and uninteresting. Big lol at that guy getting his top half blown off. Comic genius.

I'm a WWII fan only... no other wars seem to interest me... musta seen 'Band of Brothers' about 6 times now! haha ;)

Nah, if you want a good war movie, you can't go much past "Full Metal Jacket"

Right on. Band of Brothers is my all time favourite series. A must own. The dvd extra's are good too.
