A KTM 125cc off-road motorcycle was stolen after the owner allowed a prospective buyer to take it out for a test ride.
The man, described as white, 19 to 20 years old, 5ft 5in and wearing a black crash helmet and brown/pink striped tracksuit top, rode off along Barleyknowe Road, Gorebridge, Midlothian on Thursday 29th September but never returned.
If anyone is offered a KTM by anyone matching the above description, please contact Midlothian Police.
And if anyone wants to take one of your bikes for a test ride, insist on their giving you the full asking price – IN CASH – before allowing them out for a ride.
