cheapest and easiest way is to buy buy a speedohealer link here https://www.healtech-electronics.com/products/sh/ you can set these to show half speed which will fool the ecu and defeat the cut out. easy to fit and reversible, the loom for your bike will plug straight in to the factory wiring loom and plugs. I have fitted heaps of these to do this exact job.

Thanks, any other way so I don't have to halve Speedo?

I know that a lot of older Subaru cars have a bolt screwed into the back of the speedometer which when you remove it removed speed cut. There's bound to be a forum post about it somewhere online.

speed limiter is built into the ECU, ecu pulse drives the instruments. The only other option is a NZ ECU and wiring loom and they are not a straight swap in as several of the connectors are different. then there is the issue of the HISS system swapping and reprogramming keys.

That's a bummer. Would a power commander have speed cut? Good excuse to get a few more hp.

Ordered the Speedo healer today. $145 seems the easiest fix. Thanks for the help.
