Yeah, so, that turns out not to have been such a great idea. I mean I really do like this bike, but basically I should have test ridden it to see if I could cope with it. I can't. Great for that learner in your life. Totally original, and completely unmolested. Never been ridden in the rain. Hell, its hardly ever been ridden at all.

Put sr400 in your auction because you need sr400e in search to find it and your target audience is not seeing your auction.

I did bloody warn you not to expect too much from a low performance single banger.

Perhaps you're just not a fake japanese cruiser person, not necessarily a bad thing

Anyhoo, good luck passing it on

Perhaps a brown seat cover, some exhaust wrap, maybe turn the bars upsidedown. Heck you could turn this into an earner!

Maybe next buy a hardley without a testride, as I'm sure many have done.

Yeah, everytime I walk into the garage it mocks me. It has to go.

I am struggling to feel sorry for you, even though you seem like a good dude, . . but it is an SR400. I do however admire your comprehension of the sunk cost fallacy.

LOL cheers. Yeah, my own stupid fault. Mock all you want, it will be nothing compared to the mockery my partner has already dished out. When I rolled up at home on it all proud and excited she was like "Yeah, that isn't the bike for you" And I'm like "Nah it will be sweet".

I may yet buy an actual Harley though so there is that. I like Sportsters - they're "sporty"... or a VTR1000 SP1 or 2.

Surely the SR400 would destroy a sportster in all aspects? Handling, brakes , build quality, design...power? Now an SP1 or 2....finally you are coming to your senses!

You are taking the wrong angle.

Don't lose money - invest more into it.
