Hi guys,

I am on the lookout for an app that can track my rides. Im already a user of campermate and that has an excellent offline map however it can't track my route. It would be great to be able to review where I've been, speeds, timings etc.

Yes there are apps available but as far as I know these all require data. I'm not too keen to use up all my data and sometimes I'll be in places with no reception.

Any ideas? Ta

I had OSMtracker on my previous phone, worked ok recording position there is no phone coverage, and then drop a file out at the end to put on a map.

I use one of these:
http://www.lezyne.com/product-gps-minigpsY10.php#.WHnOsMuYbqA

It functions as a GPS speedometer but also maps the rides. The battery lasts around 6 hours and it can store around 100 hours of ride data.

^^

also if you go to ridewithgps.com they have a list of devices/apps that work with their site. You can plan a route and have it give turn by turn or upload from a number of devices and have it map it for you.
