I've spent the last few days putting mileage on the new scoot around the South Island.

What a bloody good bunch of guys. Every biker that I happened upon was most excellent, happy to show a stranger around (the roads). Thank you for the hospitality.

Also, as a side note - them fuckers in campers, dems all crazys. I know kissing the apex is a good thing. But can you not kiss the apex on my side of the road. What is it about Asians driving campers that make them such assholes?

I was on a welly to picton ferry on Friday with a crowd of adventure bike riders going south to Bannockburn bike week in Cromwell. They were dozing on sofas like me when a pissed wannabe whatever was refused another beer at 10 o'clock in the morning and kicked the Ottoman from under a the dozing bikers feet and stood over him threatening to stomp on his head, for the next 20 mins or so. If you would like to meet this retarded individual you might find him in Picton klink if the captain had any balls.

He sounds like great fun. None of the crowd stepped up and knocked the dickhead back to next week?

How was the bike week event?

A few of us went to Woodstock, the bike week dudes are still in progress.

Fortunately everyone handled the retard really well, the steward and Captain separated them. No matter what is said, the first to strike a bodily blow is in trouble. Not a good start for the adventure bike riders though for their holiday ride.

One thing that became apparent is how vulnerable the ferries are, no security (not that they can do much), no on board police, no powers to detain, handcuff, lock up, just mediate and attempt to separate.

There's always a do-gooder that blabs, no matter what, besides he's on candid camera which is quite different to his version of events.
His famous quotes are you are not proper bikers, a disgrace to real bikers, giving real bikers a bad name, next breath all bikers are drug dealers, I am going to stomp on your head ....you look like a cop, guy next to him is he your bitch, cry to the headmaster will you (the captain), he was prolly a keyboard warrior escaped out of the Internet universe, better than most shit posted up here.

The captain, under maritime law, has the right to handcuff a problem child to the railing or floor. Pilots can do the same thing, although not the railing bit.

AUGUSTA, GA - Orville Smith, a store manager for Best Buy in Augusta, Ga. told police he observed a customer, later identified as Tyrone Jackson of Augusta, on surveilance cameras putting a laptop computer under his jacket. When confronted the man became irate, knocked down an employee, drew a knife and ran for the door.

Outside on the sidealk were four Marines collecting toys for the Toys for Tots program. Smith said the Marines stopped the man, but he stabbed one of them, Cpt. Phillip Duggan, in the back; the injury did not appear to be severe.

After police and an ambulance arrived at the scene, Cpt. Duggan was taken for treatment.

"The subject was also transported to the local hospital with two broken arms, a broken ankle, a broken leg, several missing teeth, possible broken ribs, multiple contusions, assorted lacerations, a broken nose and a broken jaw ..... injuries he sustained when he slipped and fell off the curb after stabbing the Marine," according to a police report.

I suggest an edit of your comment.

"I know that kissing the apex is a good thing on the track, but I don't do it on the road as there are vehicles coming the other way"

Why is it when "Tourist season" is underway, you're not allowed to shoot the bastards?

I can see you're going to be a problem pedant.

On a left hand bend, when I'm on the left hand side of the road, a camper coming towards me on the wrong side of the road, with his right wheel on the white painted line on the left of my lane... I'd say that counts as me riding correctly and him not driving correctly.

Clear enough for you?

If it becomes open season, there are many more driving around in Auckland at the moment as well. We can't leave anyone out in our inclusive socialist society.

GREMLIN!!!! How are you? Have you recovered from your OCD requiring you to scratch the numberplate off your tail using the asphalt?

I was in Texas a few years ago, there was a news story on the TV about a hostage situation where the bad guy got shot, and the family was saved by the local sheriff. The basic gist was that there was a snotty reporter in the room, and she was "probing".

It went something like - reporter - "Can you tell us what happened?"

Sheriff - "We got the family out, there were no casualties".

Reporter - "But the alleged hostage taker was shot".

Sheriff - "He was the bad guy, we shot him. No casualties for the good guys".

Reporter - "Why was the alleged hostage taker shot 22 times?".

Sheriff, obviously a bit sick of the reporter, replies something along the lines of - "We only shot him 22 times because we ran out of bullets".

spun the fuzz a similar yarn one time. some punk at the skatepark.

"he was going for a 540 tail grab on the halfpipe when he shit-canned it, fell hard on his leg, then the skateboard hit him in the head and he slid down the other side and caught that rail with his face"

they almost bought it... until some smart cunt added "twice"

Well....there once was a ferry crossing when a patched bike gang created havoc in the bar.....
Crew was asked ro assemble with assorted clubs etc and went inside to sort the problem out...

Not a single gangster was capable of riding his bike of ferry afterwards. ..

Not a single fuck was given by plod or anybody else....
