I wonder if they had a reason, like they were drunk or were on stolen bikes. In either of those cases, I'm fine with the cops parking a car on them.

A pair of speeding motorbikes evaded police in Lower Hutt, north of Wellington, before one was caught after it crashed into a patrol car.
