Any reports on Kawasaki KLE500

Along the line of the Freewind and Transalp for an upward seated commuter/road and occasional trail, this bike fits into the niche but haven't found many NZ views.
What's the engine like? bike to ride on tarmac?

We were looking at getting one for SDU.
They seem to to be a great bike, with no problems.
Good for those that are vertically challenged. :psst: :whistle:
We were looking at a older 400cc bike and it was a great fit for SDU.
Haven't see in the flesh the 500 yet, but is much the same bike with
different styling.

PS: It has the same motor as the ER5, but has been retuned for off road use.
