Hello,

I am looking for a cheap 150cc - 250cc project bike to fix up and use. I am learner and ride a 125cc motorbike and self maintain it. I want to learn to repair motorcycles by starting with a low risk project so even if I don't manage to fix it, I hopefully don't loose a lot of money trying. Maximum I am trying to spend is $800 on the bike.

Looking forward to your suggestions.

regards
Ankit

Might end up a bit out of your price range, but you could check out www.manheim.co.nz - lots of damaged bikes pop up there, not all deregistered....

We have a Kawasaki EL250 which could use a total rebuild. All the bits are there. Rego on hold at the moment.

Wouldn't want $800 for it - much less than that. DM me if you're keen

I noticed it's been four and a half years since your post prior to this one. How the hell are ya?

Hey,

Finally became a member even after browsing for a few years. Any chance that EL250 is around? I would be interested in starting a project bike as I have built up a decent amount of experience now. I would have direct messaged but due to me being a new member, am unable to.
