My CBR250R engine cuts out sometimes when I'm stopped, especially when the bike is warm/hot (around 3/4 on the dial).
The rev's drop from 1.5K (normal idle) quickly to 1K then the engine completely dies but it starts up again no problem.
This issue doesn't seem to occur often when the bike is cold.
Doesn't seem to be stalling normally as the bike doesn't jump, the engine just seems to die.
Any ideas on what it could be?

Open the fuel cap slightly.
If it picks up. You may have a blocked breather.

A blocked fuel line. Possibly at the fuel tap. There is usually a filter there which collects some shit. A kink in the fuel line maybe ... or my old favourite ... an inline fuel filter installed by a previous owner years ago and since forgotten about.

No doubt that bikes been around the block a few times so it's probably herpes.
Blocked breather as mentioned is also feasible, but my money is on herpes.
Good luck!

Drain the float bowls and any other water traps in the system.
When did it last have plugs ?

Plugs have all been replaced in the last 6 months.
I cleaned the air breather hole in the tank and cleaned the fuel filter with compressed air.
I'll try tomorrow to see how the bike runs.
