May I suggest stopping at the Tiniroto Pub for lunch instead. The fish and chip shop by the Caltex and opotiki turn off in gisborne is good too.
Did the Motu last year, it was in pretty good condition, just watch out for locals when getting closer to opotiki end, keep left!

I did the Te Urewera road 10 days ago-Grader was working at the time so had soft gravel six inches deep, hopefully this will settle down by the time Easter comes.

Had that on the GSXR750 once... was no fun and had to just keep ploughing ahead lol

Hello everyone,
I am not able to make it to the ride because last minute work arrangements.
I have put together a plan for you, if needed.

It has the usual stuff, a Google Maps, a link to a GPX file what you can upload into your GPS device, recommended fuel stops and accommodations.
I hope you can make to this ride.

Andrew

Ps. This isn’t the Holy Bible, change the route to your own liking.
