He he just got me a sweet wee Suzuki gt125 twin, late 1979 model .Did a partial restore and it looks like new now, and man i forgot how much frikken fun these small strokers were (are).
Pretty much walk to bike, push choke down, turn ignition on,kick starter once, hop on bike, ride down drive to road, then rev to 10000 rpm 5 times in a row while changing gear and return home with a huge stupid fucken smile on your dial.
There is a lot to be said for having to work a small engine and actually "using " the engine :niceone::niceone::niceone:
Fucking great fun :drinknsin

I hear ya. Had to take the DT in for a warrant this morning and felt that the 400mtr trip to the garage could not have warmed the motor up to my satisfaction. 60km's later I get home grinning and chuckling like a fool. Hilarious fun. Love em.

hmmm, funny that I don't recall my gp-125 being that much fun... hard to start and even when it did, needed a tail wind to keep it going, yup... fun times!

Still, it was the hyosung of the 80's, but perhaps a tad more reliable.

Read the post properly mate it is the GT it was a twin cylinder not the emabarrasing single cylinder gp .
It became the rg 125 in the early 80s and is a sweet little motor .
