[Edit:]Sorry, ride is now cancelled due to bad weather.

I've had a few keen KBers ask me about a ride tomorrow so here it is:

Meet: Shell Westgate
Time: 10.00am
Route: SH16 to Wellsford (via a quick blat out to Muriwai) and possibly up to Mangawhai and back the same way.

I'm only riding if it's predominately dry (forecast looks dodgy).

Anyone is welcome to join me/us, pace will be medium-fast with minimum stops.

Will update this thread at 7.30am tomorrow to advise if cancelled or not.

Just went that way today to scrub my tyres in...a bit of rain along the way though.

Might be keen if the weather is fine tomorrow. Will check in the morning

From Hobsonville here looking north there is actually some blue skiies in the midst of grey...so I've changed the meet time to 10.00am now to see if it clears up and give the roads a chance to dry out.

Will post again at 9.00am with an update!

Will post again at 9.00am with an update!Ok, at this stage the ride is cancelled, sorry. The rain came down in buckets before and there was thunder & lightening, horrible grey clouds/rain on the horizon too...if it clears up I may go for a blat later and will post here if I do.

I have just been back from the ride to the south, and it was SUNNY AND DRY!
well......for 20 minutes, at least.............................

Well the weather was good until Lunch up here. Too bad I had two horses I had to do this morning or I would have ridden. After lunch was shit but.
