Send me some info as to what you are trying to do and I will see if I can fill in some gaps for you. People tend to go overboard with these types of things.

I have a change process in place but parts of it need reviewing. I've inherited a bit of a mess. I'm really just interested in chatting with people about what types of changes they have, how they carry out the CAB, what problems they encounter etc.

On the release side, to find out the different ways people are approaching it. I'm a qualifed change manager but newish to release. I can't really send information or give you anything specific.
