Aussie law has just changed to enforce an asbestos ban on all motorcycle imports.
World acceptance has been a max of 3% which allows things like brake pads, clutch plates, electrical insulation etc.
Now the Aussie Govt has decided to go to a 0% tolerance.
I'm yet to find out how it will affect temporary imports - ie racebikes taken over for a meeting or series.
The penalties for importing a non compliant bike are enormous - confiscation, destruction and a max of $180,000.00 fine....
