View Full Version : Slipped Supermoto Tires on Husqvarna FE 450
Hi guys,
Bought a new 2015 Husqvarna FE 450 a few weeks back with the intention of riding 50% off and 50% on road. So the intent was to get an extra set of wheels for the road, which I got yesterday and fitted today. I even had a chance to wedge a quick 20 minute ride. I was impressed with the bike off road, now I'm impressed with it on road with sticky shoes on (Bridgestone Battlax S21).
I'll do tail tidy this week and install under bar mirrors. I need a shorter kickstand too because I feel like the wind will knock the bike off sooner or later.
Any comments or suggestions are welcome.
Cheers

Faaaark! Love it man. Just make sure you're vigilant with security if you do plan to park it up somewhere.
I'm real close to biting the bullet and getting myself another tard.

Thanks guys!
If there's one comment I get everytime someone sees the bike it is about how easily and quickly it'll get stolen. I'm paranoid about that now.
Well, another thing to be vigilant about is the speedo! First day out ended with a $175 fine and 35 demerits ... after 5 minutes riding, no joke. I'm such a dork, I hate myself right now.
Thanks Mr :Police:

That Husky looks wicked. How much does one of these cost? I've had my eye on a KTM 690 SMC or Husky 701.. both around 18K - so a fair bit I think.

Cool!
I really want to do something like this!
Where did you get the wheels from? Easy conversion? bigger front brake?
Was thinking a 450 would be better than a 690 ktm or 701 husky. Much lighter and more fun.
Or maybe a Tpi 300 in Husky or Ktm...?
My Grom is getting slow and boring.
