Doesn't have to be strictly your bike, just anything you have a hard on for.

If I put up pics it would be of 80's and 90's sportsbike, exotica like the RC30, R7, GSXR750R etc through to the GP bikes of the day, 250 and 500cc racing machines. Probably boring to a lot of others.

This is an NCR, the Prez of the NZ Ducati owners used to have one - but not this one. They're all handbuilt, with prices that look like cell phone numbers.

Pretty it ain't but 145KG and 200+ HP at the rear wheel has its own appeal. I suspect that in his instance beauty would be in the ear of the beholder?

I thought I had found a legitimate Husqvarna Nox here but it looks like it's just a 570 with a carbon kit and decals added. My friend had one back in the mid 2000's and the thing was damn sweet. 300 made in total.

There is no tech spec with the bike, unless Cyclespot create one.
The sports kit has never been opened, well maybe by customs for a quick peek.
There's absolutely no chance you will hear that one running, as the key is over 200km from the bike at this moment.

Plus it looks unfinished IMO. Even a tiny short front guard is fine.

I remember test riding around mid-late 90's, I think it was a V11 sport. Beautiful bike with a severe discount as the dealer was running out all Guzis and going solely Harley. I distinctly remember noticing rust on all the handlebar control bolts. On a new bike.

I am quietly quite impressed that Guzzi is still going, there must have been some lean years. They have slotted themself into a cruiser/classic niche presently. I'd really like them to bring out a singular kickarse naked sport oriented ride now the Grisso has been discontinued.

At Levels at the weekend, I regret I didn't have a look around the display tent - too busy running the Kawasaki.
Anyway, I did see a bike being wheeled away late on Sunday and immediately wished I'd got it on camera...

CB500/4...Horrid pipe, bare/bobbed frame, motard wheels, no guards...and a brown seat. Sadly no exhaust wrap...

Contrast that with the KR750 Kawasaki replica that was there almost finished - just short a close ratio box. Exquisite - and beautifully done.

My current daily is my Yamaha Cygnus scooter which has been painted up as a 2011 Valentino Rossi Ducati GP bike. It's pretty faded and knackered now so I'm planning on going for a Britten V1000 livery but I can't choose between the classic pink and blue or maybe CRS...

The Britten V1000 in pink and blue - like the ones at Te Papa and the Invercargill Classic Motorcycle Mecca Museum - is my horn bike.
