I am from a different country. I want to ask if you have any recommendations of a best place to rent a motorbike for a reasonable price for a day in Auckland? This is for a surprise.

I second Colemans. I once rented a bike off them for a Saturday ride on a long weekend and they gave me the bike for Sunday and Monday for free as there would have been no way of returning it until the Tuesday anyway.
