View Full Version : You shop
Does anyone know what it would cost roughly to have a textile jacket sent from the us with you shop?

You need the weight/dimensions to put into youshop's calculator, and they will give you an exact quote. Most vendors will give you this info.
It's worth looking into Revzilla, they now ship for a flat rate to NZ, $25 I think. That's cheaper than Youshop will ever manage for a jacket.

It's a weight/volume calculation which is on their website. I've had a lot of ordinary clothing shipped ex-USA via their Portland warehouse. I've just had a fleece jacket, trousers and some shirts shipped non-priority for NZ$35. There are a few variables which makes the cost a bit uncertain. I'd think your jacket with extra weight from armour and liner etc would be around the NZ$50-70 mark. It also depends on how it's originally packed and whether it gets re-packed.
I have looked at revzilla but they cant ship some brands outside the us so was looking to use you shop, a jacket here that I want to get is $400, they are on a closeout sale for $149us($211nz)

The Youshop system works well, I've used it a couple of times to import musical instruments. Once from Portland, once from the UK. I've no idea what your jacket will cost but their service is usually great.

whats the jacket prob cjheaper to buy here.
I got burnt buying a pair of adventure boots, the large box size made for a hefty volumetric rate and jacket would easily be twice the size of my boot box.

What jacket is it? Probably cheaper and quicker to get it from eBay and have it shipped straight to you instead of being double dipped on shipping costs.
