I should have done this years ago but never got around to it,

Anyway back in ealy 2003 I purchased the bike from Classic Cycles in Upper Hut, 1949 BSA B31 with 400cc kitted motor, he was selling it on behalf. One day at the top of the Rimutaka hill a guy pulled up in an 60s Valiant or Holden witch was all in primer and I think his name was Terry, he sed it was his bike and he had all the photos and info of the restoration and stuff, I got his number but I lost it. I understand he was from Palmerston north, the rego papers just say (persons unknown unconfirmed) and palmerston north. I would very much like to get in contact.

I talked to a cople other bikers in upper hutt who knew of the bike and sed it was round stokes valley for a very long time, and some racer guy called Graham Stott had something to do with it, I think the engine was used in a race bike and had a goldstar top end at some stage.

The people who could give me names straight off are no longer around
