Anecdotal evidence indicates that biker numbers are increasing too, but no mention of a price cut for bikers!

As far as it looks, it only mentions motorists - not quite the same as motorcyclists :(

Shows that not only cage drivers are unaware of motorcyclists.

Professional rugby, rugby league and cricket players would also pay more to cover injuries and loss of income. Their loss-of-income levy would rise $1.07 for every $100 earned to $5.37 under the self-employed work account. Both rugby codes also face an increase of $1.76 in every $100 of income to cover injury suffered while playing. Cricketers will have their levy increased by $1.41 to $7.06.
That's weird. Rugby players normally have a god like status in this country and most laws and such which apply to us mere mortals don't apply to them. Why are they being charged more?! What's the world coming too?!?!?!

No, remarkable as it seems ACC are indeed proposing a levy drop for motorcycles, of about $22.
See their document Here (http://www.acc.co.nz/wcm001/groups/external_levies/documents/internet/200510060945517.pdf)
You'll need to trawl right through to near the end , to page 34. It's in a table so I can't easily copy and paste it.

Bugger, just relicenced the Goose for a year! And the self-employed levies are to rise too, despite the fact being a writer and photographer doesn't exactly expose me to great danger... unless I spell someone's name wrong!

Why do big hard as rugby players get to sit out games for such life threatening injures as a bruised thigh or a sore thumb, when malnourished and unloved bike races still race with smashed wrists and broken legs?
Is it caus rugby playas are SOOO hard they don’t want us to feel intimidated by their super human abilities to run with a ball while so close to deaths door?
