I have never bothered with the "dark web", I've had no need. The press love to talk shit about it though and never pass up a chance to mention kiddie porn and drugs being freely available. Recently there was mention of a site selling rocket launchers, that'd be enough to give their post menopause readers palpitations. This does tend to ignore the practicalities, such as that Customs will doubtless be interested in a parcel containing an RPG7.

The dark web was apparently a creation of the US Navy and it has legitimate uses, but that'd ruin a good story.
