Hi All... Newbie here, and thoughts on new bike?

Chiselmad here,
returning biker after 14 years!!!! i know, scary but exciting.
so currently looking for the bike, i have a couple in mind, XSR 900 or a Triumph Tiger 800 XRX.
i'd welcome thoughts on either, and also thoughts on JAP imports, as the triumph is 2015 model.
hopefully going to get out off the tarmac a little bit too.

Wow thought my 10 years was good. If you're looking to do a bit of cross country go anywhere touring what about the BMW Dakar(GS whatever they're called these days). Can handle the two up, the loaded with kit, the off road and the everyday commute.
