great to see, we had quite a few kiwis in the world superbikes as it was raced here for three years, there's still the odd remnants of bikes here too, the limited edition gsxr750 brian bernard brought over from the states is one that pops to mind, as is the pink flamingo, sadly someone thought better to return it to road bike condition.
the anglos duke is still around too that several people rode

Who's going this year? And who's racing what? I have a racing mate who comes over every year from oz, not to race usually, just to talk shit and take photies.

Yep ! going again, hopefully the rain will stay away this time, it was a bit disapointing last year with the weather.

It is usually hot as!
I was there a couple of years ago when a guy entering the pit area from the slip road had his swingarm snap off on one side, lock up his rear brake, and then stick into the tarmac and pogo him around 120 degrees. And he kept it upright!

On that note, the latest Megaphone has an article on MNZ conducting drug and alcohol testing for riders and crew, so take it easy prior to and on race day.:2thumbsup.

I was out test riding my Tiger 100 this morning and I saw a van with Sypda written on it, turned around and it was Spyda Security....you branching out?
