Need bike for 4 weeks, rent/buy back

I'm coming from Canada to see New Zealand for 6 weeks starting November 22nd, 2017 and want to find a bike to use while I'm here. Renting a bike costs an insane amount so I'm looking for a more affordable option. I'm looking for an affordable rental/buy back option on a bike.

Here in Canada I ride a KLR650 which is a great bike. Looking for a similar adventure/touring/dualsport bike.

If anyone has any suggestions or would be interested in discussing a rental or buy back deal on a bike it would be greatly appreciated.

Not what your after but I have a very tidy 1992 BMW R80GS with panniers and road tyres, sell for $6000 and buy back for $4500 if in same condition. I'm in Auckland.
