Hello, everyone! I’ve created this thread for us to discuss the furry companions in our lives, our pets. Aside from my kids, there is another small creature putting a smile on my face, our Pomeranian, Cuddy. He loves to play with my kids, follow my wife around the house, urging for a cuddle, hang out in his own dog kennel (http://www.petstreetmall.com/Dog-Kennels/489.html), and even hitch a ride on our family road trips. He’s been with us for many years and has really grown to be a part of our family. How about you, fellas? What are your furry friends?

Our 2 rescue dogs.
We now help the rescue out with vetting new adopters in our area and fund raising.

These two old buggers were best of mates, both passed within months of each other at the ripe old ages of 17 & 14 respectively, left a bloody great hole that's ain't going to be filled easily

Yeah it's shithouse thing to go through especially when they get to that age; Zak & Molly were inseparable and more akin to Bonnie & Clyde in their personalities Molly made the bullets & Zak fired them  Neither had a nasty bone in their bodies.
Though Zak is in prime was a ball of muscle and I'll always remember one night when the neighbour's rotty came on the property uninvited :pinch: Zak beat the crap of sodding thing & I've never seen a rotty move so fast trying to get away :killingme
This pic is was taken not long after we got Molly funny at that age she'd walk clear under Zak and then in later years Zak could walk clear under her

Ha, my wee APBT has upset a couple of big dogs, too. She's an expert at judo for some reason and flips them. Never, ever, hurt a person or other animal, though. Apart from rats.. She just teaches them manners.
Ain't got a pic handy, I think there is one in this threads previous incarnation.
She's getting on now but still fit and I want to get a puppy soon so she can train it and I'm not totally devastated when she goes. She was diagnosed with malignant tumours on her belly last year, typical Bull Terrier sunbathing problem, and they will not relent. It's pretty unpleasant knowing what is to come.
But wait..

:killingmeOur Sooty, hes having a cone lol (...an ICECREAM cone Axle:facepalm:)
But...sadly, after 8 loving yrs with us and the kids...we had to put him down just last month* :crybaby:
He developed Sudden Diabetes, then went blind within 2 weeks...we couldn't stabilize his insulin dosage and he was suffering and hurting himeself walking around blind...so we had to make the hard choice to put him to sleep at the young age of 8 (a week before his b-day)...worst day ever for our young family...the kids understood, but it sure wasn't easy:no: (Broke there wee hearts...but they understood)
8yrs of being an awesome family member & mate...R.I.P Sooty - That'll do mate, job well done.
*(Yup, I brought him home afterwards, dug a 6 foot hole for him to sleep in, and topped it off with a beautiful rose bush...wasn't leaving my mate with strangers to "dispose of him"...hes at home with us)

Our boy Gus. Retired form a successful racing career at the ripe old age of 4 and is the laziest dog I've ever met. He barely survives a walk around the block before he's puffed and needs another 12 hours in this position.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171213/409d0e20133f4a004f845bbe3c78963b.jpg

Think we have the twin brother about same age. OWNS the neighbourhood, silly bugger doesn't realise he's too old to beating up the whole neighbourhood these days though...

Went for a nice ride this morning. Early so not much traffic...
But...
Got home to discover that in my absence, Abble Gabble (the cat) had turned the aircon on and was sitting in the chair where it blows -
with a smug look on her friggin' face...I hope her bank account is current - I will be sending the bill! (She also regularly changes the input on the TV with one key. I can't do that. It takes me about three keys to do it...)
Current mug shot below.
