track days, what needs doing to your bike

hi folks, standard road bike turns up to a track, what needs prepping for the day, and at which tracks?

Piece of string question? Week test day? Have a go day? Club event? IIRC Motorcycling Canterbury require all lights and Mirrors taped, Current WOF?[Dependent of class] Sidestand wired up, good tyres and pass a scrutineers inspection? This would be on a 'Have a go day'. Test days -used to be more open dependent on club membership and racing Licence. Club event-as per the rulebook. This would be Ruapuna. DB limits may apply now too.

Check for rider's regulations too. Some track day classes only allow 1 piece leather suits with full wrist protective gloves.

Am doing puke track this month, 23rd, mirrors off, minimum 3/4 zip together leathers, gauntlet type gloves, road legal bike. Thats it.
