Hello recently i was given a Suzuki ac50 and it was mechanicaly in good shape but it looked horrible but anyway it runs but the throttle cable has snapped and the problem with that is that it is oil injected so it spilts into two and I have a normal throttle cable so I was wonder I I just disconnect the oil pump cable and the oil line that goes to the carb and just ran premix but the oil pump will still deliver oil to the crank and stuff so what do you guys think

Thanks in advance

why not just fix the cable?

i did a premix conversion on a TS once, can't remember what was involved but it wasn't much. you could probably find the process with a search...

Ring a Suzuki dealer.
A friend had a cable break (split cable) on an old TF 185, a phone call to his local Suzuki shop and they got in a new cable, no problems.

Suzuki's of that era often just changing to premix is a bad idea as shielded and fed main. Too long since my A50. But heck just fix the cable.
