OK, folks, anyone out there riding one of these babies?
Looking to know what they're like to own and maintain?
Also what sort of mileage one might expect to get as long as one was riding with the usual restraint.
at13K it looks and feels, good, had a sit on it today, got it booked for a ride on Saturday.

I test rode one about three years ago and thought it made nice power everywhere but the motor sounded like a concrete mixer! Bike looks like it is set up to have abs and TC but had neither. I remember it being nice to ride tho, nice manners etc, but my ride was only about 30km so YMMV.

I would jump onto a Benelli Forum and research for problems....

My first worry would be where can you get parts.

Ive looked at a few other bikes thinking about a replacement for my GSX1250fa. But with the few mods Ive done to it, the thing is so good. Spending more money just seems pointless. With a basic tune you get 30% more power, bit of suspension work they handle well. Also it will outlive me.....

It'll be a bold move if you go ahead and get one. I'd admire you for it and may be a little jealous too.

Post some pics up if you do will ya!? As for the GSX 1250F - I wish they still made those. A cracking machine for the money from what I've seen. ;)

As long as the dealer is prepared to sort it when or if it falls apart/breaks what have you got to lose. Seems the newer ones get goodish reviews around the place/world.

I bought my lams hyosung on the above proviso ended up being worth while, even though the older ones were apparently shit.

Once upon a time Benelli was Italian but has for some years now been Chinese?

Well, I took this bike for a ride.
Got about 2 k's donw ther orad and decided she wasn't for me.
No ABS.
No Traction Control.
Neither of these things disturbed me.
They put ina quarter of a tank of gas., the light was flqashing before I'd gone 20K.
It goes very well.
Turns in beautifully and loves coming out of corners at speed.
Comfortable seat.
Good riding position, but not that dissimilar to the Bandy.
Briefly tried the hyper mode button, Na.
Would be deaf by the time I hopped off it after a long ride, exhaust note beautiful, but too loud for this kid.
Throttle response good, but better manuvouring if you firdst change down.;
I didn't get much over the legal speed before I noticed a need to hold on tighter due to wind pressure, this despite a windscreen.
Engine vibrates and is definitely unbalanced when you first grab some go turns.
Overall, while it's as near to a new bike as it could be, I didn't see the point in getting off my smooth, sleek, vibration free, equipped with ABS and capable mf going over 300 K's on a fill and spending another few thou for the privilage of owning a throoughbreede that has to be ridden hard and noisily to make it feel right add to that the worry of having it nicked for being such an exotic and the answer is yeah, Na!
Andrew at Experience MC's is a good man and did everything well, a good ride and a good interaction, sadly this time no sale.
