You didnt like the 16 speed?Beautiful machine, well screwed together, just felt the same powerwise as my 05. Not saying it was slow, just expecting more out of this generation of speedy. I've had 4 speedys in all.

You sure mix 'em up. A V4 Tuono followed by a Victory? Enjoy.

Fair enough, I almost pulled the trigger on one but they seem not quite there yet.

Must be overdue for a completely redesigned 1400cc triple engine ;)

yes, the 1050 was a stunning engine when it arrived, I'm actually kicking myself for selling my 05, I had her for 8yrs with not 1 issue, we have a Street Triple RX as well so I still have a Trumpy to ride

Mine is an 09. When I read the road test of the new model BIKE magazine reported an increase of 3HP IIRC and nobody is going to feel that.

I've always wanted a Speed Triple. I've ridden a few in the p;ast and always wanted to add one to the stable. Perhaps I'll manage that this year.

Speedys are a great bike, I'd buy another 05 in a heartbeat.

Like the MT10 over the Tuono V4? That's interestin.

If I were too, and I may, get a sportyish bike, those two are in my top three. I do like Yamaha, though.

Please give us thoughts on why you like the MT10.. A KB comparo.

Enjoy!

My Tuono was the 1000 V4 not the new 1100, even so the 1000 was quik only trouble was it really didn't like puttering along she would run extremely hot and sometimes refuse to start at gas stations ( you know how many gas stops you do on a Tuono ) probably as many as on the MT10 but at least it starts. The Tuono only comes into it's own when your doing lose licence speeds then everything about the bike makes sense it's wicked when your going fast, the MT is the same only it doesn't mind puttering about in town or just cruising then twist the throttle and it rips your head off!!

How far do you get out of a tank on the MT?

On par with any Supernaked round 160Km's then the fuel gauge stars flashing, so round 170-180Km's to dry.

Yeah I was looking at a ducati monster 1100 until I saw how small the tank was, only about 13l or so!
The next model, the 1200, is considerably better and gets about 220km before the light comes on.

What's the deal with the blue chock looking thing on the floor?

(Just curious/nosy.)

When alarms and Dogs aren't enough, floor anchors add to the security.

Yeah, I have an Oxford one here sitting on the desk in its box. Not doing any bloody good there though...
