drill a second hole and run two smaller ones if you can't get one big enough.

Well his last thread was about the rim width on a 2018 Harley running a 150 something 16 and it was determined it was the factory 3 inch rim. He was thinking of going wider .....

So mounting a 180 on a three inch rim?

Just darkside the fucker and be real 'Merican

Is this on the 3" rim?

My guess he is trying to fit a tubeless tyre on a spoked rim.
If so good luck, but the is a system sold by Boyds that is a inflatable tube at high pressure, that seals the spoke entrys. Once this is inflated to seal, the tubeless tyre can be inflated as a tubeless, sold for the adventure market to increase tyre selection. Once again goodluck if that is what you are trying to succeed.
Got to go as I see my goat is chewing axkholes gorse.

Hi all its going on 2018 harley Street Bob.
3" wude rim 16" spoked wheel.
Some say the existing tube will stretch to fit & cover 180 tyre. Will give that a go. Closest one I found was 180/70-15.. meh.
Running tube inside "tubeless" tyre is ok btw.

Whats the fuss? Factory set up has tubeless tyre with tube inside on a spoked wheel to start with anyway.

someones confusing tubeless (a state of not having a tube) with Tubliss (by Nuetech, a maker of systems for running tyres without tubes on spoke or otherwise porous wheel rims) but not to be confused with True Bliss a singing group of (in their day, almost 20 years ago) fairly hot chicks.

Give or take a bit on the tyre size you can probably get away with, stretching a tube onto a 1 inch larger rim size probably not.

Drag Specialties do a heavy duty 180/65-16 inner tube

Slamming a 180 section tire on a 3" rim is going to cause all sort of issues, the carcass of the tire ain't going to like being deformed that much

I have no idea how you are going to be able to squeeze a 180 section tyre on to a 75mm wide rim. But that's not my problem.

My Kubota Tractor has 8 [inch] x 16 front wheels with tubes. The tyre shops just use a light truck inner tube and these are available at most car tyre shops. I wouldn't worry about the profile [height] of the tube as tubes flex to fit inside the tyre and the rim. If a light truck tube is too big to fit then go to a car tube.

Provided the tube has to expand slightly to fill the void between the tyre and the rim it should work fine. Too large a tube will cause problems if the tube has to be folded to fit inside the tyre - you tend to end up with punctures where the folds occur.

Some say the local hardly dealer should have a factory tube on the shelf with tassles on it.

truth is the tassles on the leathers are to stop the pidgeons landing on them when they're out riding...

That's a bit of an overkill, when the distortion of the tyre imparts heat and abrasion into the tube, when it lets go its going to sound like a bird scarer anyway.

Hi does anyone here run 180 rear tyres with inner tube? Nope, but I have a chubby blow up doll.

I am having a huge fun trying to find one for hours with no luck! I can lend it to you with a pucture repair kit.

180 / 70B 16 is the tyre size I want to install. You can overinflate it if it turns you on.

any help would be much much appreciated! I can lend you airpump.

Thank you!
Anything to help a mate, where not all into stretching rim jobs.
