Hi there
I acquired a set of Givi E45 panniers and want to mount them on my 2009 BMW G650GS. Any idea where to get one or does anybody have a pattern or detailed photos of one? Quite capable of making anything like that myself....

Any info, links or photos appreciated!
Cheers
Joe

This might help: GIVI (https://www.givi.it/my-motorcycle#BMW,F_650_GS_/_F_800_GS_(08_%3E_17))

Thanks for the link. Clear advantage if one can use Google!

The problem (challenge) I have is trying to fit old Givi panniers to an '09 bike. Apparently these E45 panniers have not been made for a while and I am not sure if all the attachment points have stayed the same....

Givi never made racks for FJ1200's ... I acquired the pannier's (including the Top box) and rack off an old Honda. I kept the square frame the panniers actually attach to ... and then designed and built the frame to fit my bike. It wasn't as big an issue/job as I thought it would be. Knowing somebody that can weld ... with their own welder was a distinct advantage.

Thanks for the reply.
That's what I mean: I can make it myself but I do not know what the attachment points look like. No idea what knobs the panniers sit in..
I have enough tubes to bend and also got a TIG welder and gas welding equipment, so that is not the issue. It's more trying to copy someone's setup instead of paying $400 for a piddly little frame!

All the monokey panniers fit the the same rack, it’s only the new Outback Trekker that has the new camlock setup. Rack will be about $300 brand new or pick up any rack on TradeMe cheap and modify it to fit.

Check with Ray from Mount Motorcycles if He has got any second hand racks.
