Whenever I commute (1hr) and take off my gloves there are faint black marks on my palms and upon washing them the water in the sink is almost completely black.

I have the Dainese Full Metal gloves, so not cheap or by any means low quality.

Does this happen to anybody else?

(Dry weather/wet weather/always)

Yup
It's just the excess dye coming out of the leather, caused by sweat or rain.
Nothing much you can do about it, it's just the price you pay for having leather gear that isn't the same colour as the animal it came from...

Oddly, I've never had that and I have ridden in some real crappy weather through English winters and still do here in NZ. i'd be taking them back to the dealers
