I understood that she found out after his death. I guess that means that one or more of his victims has regained some courage and spoken to her.
It's an extremely serious allegation, something that is only very rarely found to be made falsely, so dismissing it as bullshit is naive and premature.
It's a shame he isn't still alive to answer for himself, but possibly if he was then maybe this wouldn't have come to light.

The media is seemingly full of these stories at the moment. Amazing woman wronged by horrible man.. On the one hand - it seems suspect to accuse a person, when they cannot defend themselves against the accusation.

However, if this has been instigated by a victim, it's not entirely unreasonable to posit that they only came forward when the perpetrator couldn't hurt them.

As others have said - the story of "I was married for nearly 30 years and had no idea" somehow rings a little hollow.

I think the important part is to wait until evidence is gathered, before making a determination.
